Mom went to the doctor today and they found two very large masses which they don't know what they are. They are in the abdominal area. She has been in a lot of pain for several weeks. She called to make an appointment with them finally (after 2 weeks of trying to take Tylenol and ignore it) on the 10th, and was told that since she couldn't be seen until the 19th. (Today)
She has a CT set up for tomorrow to see what they can find out. With and without contrast. The doctor also had blood work done today.
He told her that he believes that the basic plan is that she'll have surgery in the next 2 weeks to have whatever these 2 large masses are removed. Then based on what they are, we go from there.
