Thursday pictures 2

This guy makes homeade ice cream which lots of us have had. I know I know, but it was SUPER hot and dusty and the ice cream was COLD! So far everyone is still alive. All kidding aside, we watched to see if our interpreters got any and they all did. :-)

This little girl is Fernando's daughter. (He is the guy who's track we are using and who owns LOTS of Dirt Bike shops here. Although she is mentally handicapped, she is the sweetest girl. Her name is JoAnna. She memorized all of our names and would call for us the hours later by name. She is playing with an Evangecube, which the interpreter sitting beside her explained to her on her level and she bowed her head and repeated a little prayer and said Amen. Then put her hand over her heart and said, "Jesus en me corazon!" "Jesus is in my heart."

Haven't I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
